Conference was great!

 Hola Familia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow!  Conference was so great!  We had 4 investigators come which was awesome, and the one that I told to write questions and come to get answers actually wrote questions!!  And got answers!!  She, along with her daughter will be baptized at the end of this month.  My favorite messages from conference:

I liked the talk by Cheryl L Esplin about teaching your children for understanding...but in this case I applied it to teaching your hija (daughter referring to jr companion) in the mission for understanding...and I learned a lot :)

I liked the talk by Paul E Koeliker about missionary work and how to make sure the investigators feel the spirit.  I loved when Elder Oaks said that sacrifice becomes a privilege when you understand the
atonement.  One of my most FAVORITE talks was from Pres. Eyring.  Give me mountains :)  Fear not what man can do for God will be with you forever.  A foundation of faith is so important. I felt a very strong spirit in the talk by L Tom Perry about the Book of Mormon and I loved Niel L Anderson ¨What thinks Christ of me?¨ I was also very, very touched by Richard G Scott's talk.  He has talked about the Spirit the last 3 conferences I think.  But all in all, I made questions of my own too and I learned so much.  I was so happy my investigators got to hear the voice of a living prophet who guides us and has revelations for us now.  My companion and I jumped for joy when each investigator walked into the door (sometimes literally) :)

Well, I am sending pictures from last p day when we went to the zoo and one of my new compañerita and one of me in Quillabamba!  Babma girl :)  Haha it is true.
Well, the work is going good.  We are working hard.  This is one of my favorite areas.  I realllly love it.
I had a cool experience this week where for the very first time I felt exactly like Nephi. Ï was led by the Spirit not knowing beforehand the things I should do.  I felt we should go up a road, but I doubted
because it practically led to nowhere and there was only one house at the top...and so I almost kept walking but I couldn´t deny the feeling so I told my companion we were going up but in my head I was thinking what the heck what if it doesn't lead to anything productive and then what will we do and here I am trying to be an example....BUT it all turned out just fine in the end...actually much better than I had anticipated.  We found a house on the way up that was a little more set back and when we knocked a woman opened up and immediately let us in and talked with us and told us after we challenged her that she would be baptized!  Wow.  The only thing is when we went back the next time for the appt she wasn´t there....but oh well I learned for the first time what it felt like to really just GO and trust completely and wholly on the Spirit. It was a good learning experience for me.

Sounds like the whole family is doing well.  Clark is having some great experiences.  Dad, there is dulce de leche here and I love it, too.  There is the milk in bags here but I haven´t tried it.

Love you all so much

Hermana Lindsey
